Global insurance and Car Loans


The insurance industry is a major component of the economy by virtue of the amount of premiums it collects, the scale of its investment and, more fundamentally, the essential social and economic role it plays by covering personal and business risks. This annual report monitors global insurance market trends to support a better understanding of the insurance industry's overall performance and health

This monitoring  report  is compiled using data from the OECD Global Insurance Statistics (GIS) database. The geographical reach of the GIS database is constantly expanding and now covers 62 countries. In addition to OECD countries, this includes: a number of non-OECD Latin American countries, achieved through cooperation with the Association of Latin American Insurance Supervisors (ASSAL); several non-OECD countries in Asia; as well as Lithuania, South Africa and, for the first time, Tunisia.

This monitoring report and the GIS database provide an increasingly valuable cross-country source of data and information on insurance sector developments for use by governmental and supervisory authorities, central banks, the insurance sector and broader financial industry, consumers and the research community.

Un climat de tension règne à l’Université Publique du Nord au Cap Haïtien (UPNCH) depuis la publication, en date du 19 février 2018, d’une circulaire ministérielle nommant le citoyen Délide Joseph comme nouveau recteur de l’institution. À travers ladite circulaire, le ministère de l'Éducation nationale et de la Formation Professionnelle (MENFP) notifie que « […] suite au processus d'analyse des dossiers déposés, de présélection et d'entrevues, et tenant compte des profils académique et professionnel, le Dr JOSEPH a obtenu la plus forte note selon le rapport du Comité chargé du recrutement ». Opportunité de stage et d’emploi pour 50 jeunes étudiants haïtiens

Après avoir placé dans des entreprises, pour stage et/ou emploi, plus de 75% des participants à son premier projet de formation sur l’employabilité, PUSH qui se donne pour mission de faciliter l’insertion socioprofessionnelle des jeunes haïtiens, organise, en collaboration avec ses partenaires, du 6 au 8 avril 2018, une deuxième édition de formation sur le même sujet, à l’intention des étudiants finissants et gradués. Le train ne s’arrête pas pour PUSH, ce projet - sorti de l’atelier Emploi du forum international de jeunes Élan Haïti 2016 -, qui se veut un rempart contre le taux de chômage chez les jeunes dans le pays. Le staff directeur du projet, après une première édition de formation, en 2017, qui a réuni une trentaine de jeunes, s’offre un quasi-satisfecit au regard des résultats obtenus.
